Rose Swain, Frederick George Swain, Victor Thomas Swain, Harry Walter Swain, Roland Jack Swain and Phyllis Joan Swain were siblings.

George's parents were Philip John Swain (b.1845) and Mercy Ann Reeves of Hastings. His siblings were Lizzie Swain, Nellie Swain, Fred Swain and Louie Swain.
